WHAT IS CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY? On Friday 11th December millions of people in the UK will be putting on a Christmas jumper to raise money for a great cause. LET’S DO THIS! Millions of people. Friday 11th December 2020. The greatest day of the whole entire year. Wear a silly jumper and get every single person you know to do the same! Then donate £2 – it’s for the kids, people! Together, as one awesome team, we’ll be changing the actual future! Awesome.
Our school becomes a magical winter wonderland set ready to celebrate the festive season with all our wonderful children.
Nursery will be closed from Monday 23rd March until Friday 27th March. Letters have been sent out to inform parents of this closure.
If you would like your child to take part in our decorated Easter Egg competition, please can entries be in school by Wednesday 1st April. Judging will take place on Thursday 2nd April.
Parents Evening is Wednesday 1st April. Your child has taken home a letter, please ensure this has been returned to school in order for us to be able to try and provide you with your preferred time slot.
On Friday 13th March, the children will be taking part in a range of activities in support of Sport Relief. Children are invited to come into school wearing their sporting clothes for a donation of £1 which will go towards helping all the hard work the charity does, all year round.
Children in Year 6 will be having a Puberty Session led by the School Nurse. We are inviting parents in to school before the session at 9:15 on Monday 9th March. This will be to discuss the session with the Nurse so that you will be fully aware of what this will entail. Children have been sent home with slips to return to school if parents DO NOT want their children to take part in the session.
This Friday, we will be open from 8:15 am if you would like to drop in and join us for some breakfast and a chance to enjoy reading with your child.
Throughout the week, if you have any books that your children have read and loved, we would kindly ask you to donate them to us so that the children can take part in a swap on Friday 6th March.
