Walk to School Week

The fun and engaging week-long activity for primary schools has been built to make pupils experience first-hand the importance of walking to school. Children will be well on their way to reaching their recommended 60 minutes minimum of physical activity per day before even reaching the school gates! Not only will it set them up for a positive day in the classroom, but it will also help create healthy habits for life.

Pyjamarama is all about getting children excited about reading, and fundraising to make sure every child gets their bedtime story. We are going to be enjoying a range of reading activities throughout the day: reading, enjoying and sharing stories, all in the comfort of our pyjamas. We ask for a donation  to BookTrust to help all children have access to stories and to reading

NSPCC Number Day

Children will be taking part in NSPCC Number day – enjoying a range of number based activities both in the classroom and outdoors.

Zoo Lab

Children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 are having some very special visitors in their classroom. Andrew from Zoo Lab will be bringing a range of animals for children to hold and learn all about.

St George’s Day

Children are invited to wear red & white clothing to celebrate St George’s Day. Children will be taking part in a range of in class activities to learn about St George and how he became the patron saint of England.

Comic Relief – Red Nose Day

FUNNY IS POWER This year, we are dressing up as Super Heroes –  Superman, Cat-Girl, Nurse or Fire-Fighter – Anyone you think is a hero! Funny can change things. It can connect us. It can be the difference. So this March 19th, we need you to join us to help change the world with the power of funny. Because no matter how small something may seem; like putting on a Red Nose, getting the team to dress up, putting a joke in your window, or donating while watching the TV —when you do it for Red Nose Day, you’re part of something much bigger. You’re working towards making the world a better place.
