This week in Bluebells and Buttercups we are going to be writing a postcard to our new class teacher letting them know what they are called, how old they are and what they like and do not like. This week as a mathematics focus we will be investigation money in our ice cream shop and the values of each of the coins, this will also support the children in addition and subtraction of single numbers. We will be talking about what animals live in the ocean what they look like and what they eat.

PSHE – Talk to the children about what their favourite memories are from the past year in Reception. Explain that we always have memories even if they are in a different class. Create a class memory jar of all their lovely memories and things they have enjoyed
