Giraffes – Year 5/6

Welcome to Giraffe’s Class Page!

Here you will find the work Mrs Bradley has set for your children! This page will be updated with new work weekly and answers will be provided the following week.

All tasks set are linked to the National Curriculum requirements for Year 5/6 and will ensure your child’s progression throughout this time and beyond. As well as the work here, children have also been sent home with Home Learning packs to complete. We have also sent children home with paper and other stationary to help with their work.  See the bottom of the page for useful links for other things to do whilst at home.

Remember the most important thing during your time away from school is to stay safe, listen to your grown-ups and support each other around the house.  Spend time together and make memories.  Mrs Bradley. x

Here’s a message from my girls to you all:

Year 6’s

As we get nearer to the end of the school year, in school we would normally start preparing for your transition to high school and look at answering any questions or concerns you may have.  I have included a link to some video clips to explore what it is like starting high school and things you need to know.  Please have a look around.  There will also be some booklets for you to collect at school On Thursday 7th May between 1.30pm and 2.30pm.

Other ideas of things to do:

I am missing you all and hope to see you all soon.  Take care and stay safe. Mrs Bradley.

Hundreds of children’s authors have come together and created a book for children to read during their time at home and it’s completely free.  Here is the link to access the book.

Please look at the projects and resources page under the Coronavirus tab for a wide range of topics and subject specific activities.
